PHOTO ESSAY

Here we can see a sketch of a city in the future. Antonio Sant'Elia one of the artists of Futurism illustrates this constructions.

This two drawings from Fritz Lang interpret a dystopia where a future version of the myth of Babel Tower is present. And, in fact, this myth is an excellent example of a dystopia.

This Futurism painting shows an abstract dystopian situation where people kill each other. We can see the persons are all the same showing them like robots rather than humans.

This model simulates a future city without chaos.

In the other side, this one simulates the same city after a war. The buildings are destroyed and the colors shown are dark.

This photos were taken in different places of Bogotá D.C. The photos were modified in order to give them dark colors. In this way, they resemble a dystopian city. In fact, thinking in the situation, both natural and social, we could say we're living in an early dystopia.

A dystopian city is represented in the drawing. In the right side we could see future bulidings. In the other side of the image there are some simple houses that represent the poor people that will suffer. Year after year the differentiation and chaos of power and money management is bigger. Even in the future poor people is going to remain living in bad conditions.
